Published

on

Custom Cookie Boxes

Cookies have always remained the most consumed and common food item among the kids. Different cookie brands are available, producing a variety of cookie options in varied types, flavors, or nature. You can look for the possibilities of cookie box packaging to satisfy your packaging cookie needs which you are about to produce.

As the snack brand owner, you should opt for premium and excellent quality box designs available in colossal diversity. It would help with the durable box options to withstand the shipping time against any damage. As cookies are popular among kids, designing the box with colorful and vibrant printing options is excellent.

If you think that packaging is all about plastic and cardboard use, you are entirely wrong with this aspect. Much more is involved in a piece of cookie box packaging to satisfy your product needs.

When a person steps into a cookie store, they will notice how you are displaying the colorful cookies on the shelves. If you want your cookie store to be the promising one in the market and for targeting more customers, choosing creative box cookie designs should be your first want.

Generic and unimpressive custom cookie boxes packaging can ruin your whole cookie brand image and damage the cookie quality. Thus, it won’t be that appealing to the customers at the end of the day. Through cookie custom packaging, you are often putting forward a positive impact on the customer, improving your brand reputation and making yourself stand out from the competition.

Right through this guide, we will help you to know about the 5 major factors which you need to consider before selecting cookie boxes online. Let’s dive into the discussion below:

5 Factors to Consider Before Selecting Online Custom Cookie Boxes

Those five major factors to consider for selecting cookie online boxes are:

  • Type of packaging
  • Finishing and printing techniques
  • Overall quantity
  • Box dimensions
  • Box lead time

Now we are going to discuss each one of these factors in detail below:

Type of packaging

In the middle of numerous options available for you, it is always the best choice to choose the packaging option that matches the product theme. Two different packaging types are available in which we have bags and boxes.

Some versatile options are available for custom cookie box packaging, such as corrugated boxes, folding cartons, or rigid box designs. But for the bags, you can avail yourself of white cardboard, Kraft paper, and a few reusable options.

No matter whatsoever packaging type you are about to consider, you should find something cost-effective. And for that sake, you should know the primary purpose of packaging. The corrugate box is generally best to package heavyweight items and is durable to withstand different weather conditions.

Packaging box options are also available in the middle of different accessories, including custom inserts.

Finishing and printing techniques

The following important factor is the finishing options and printing techniques to be part of your wholesale packaging cookie boxes. No doubt that the involvement of finishing options will add to your box with extra classiness and attraction to the customer’s eye. Printing techniques are of 4 types which are:

Offset printing

Flexography

Digital Printing (Inkjet Printing)

Silkscreen Printing

For the printing of the logo design, you can either go with the single-color finishing or with multi-color touch. But in comparison to single-color printing, multi-color is a bit expensive, and it is complex to get it printed on all box types. Apart from printing options, a few other add-on choices are:

Lamination in which we have matte, glossy, and the soft-touch design

Oil Varnish, which is quite similar to the glossy lamination and is 100% recyclable

Spot UV brings a depth and extra uniqueness to the final box

Debossing or embossing is in image form or the designs which are to be printed on certain paper materials

Overall quantity

The overall quantity of the packaging units will strongly impact the final costs. Therefore, you must consider your current usage to figure out the overall amount you demand.

Most suppliers require a minimum order, for instance, 1,000 units. This can be huge if you are running a small-scale business. Going for the 200 bags or custom luxury boxes per month for the small brand will be enough.

For saving enough of your money, you can opt for bulk ordering which can be a cost-effective choice. The majority of the manufacturers go for bulk order placement, which is a requirement for a small brand.

Box dimensions

4th most important factor is the dimensions of the box! When choosing a custom packaging box, you don’t have to think about if your product can get fitted into the box. All the packaging units have been designed to meet all your essential items. You can often take help from packaging experts to measure each and everything.

But it would help if you had a basic idea about how bigger the packaging unit must be.

Thus, die-lines are adjusted according to customer requirements just before they go into production.

Lead time

The last tip is about the lead time of the box packaging! Thus, the lead time in which you are about to receive the order will vary according to the years’ time. It would also depend on how much time it takes in the overall processing.

When selecting cookie boxes with logo packaging, the customer’s satisfaction plays a significant role. You should pick artwork, box materials, and the box dimensions to meet the customer requirements. Make sure you deliver them with the order of their packaging on time.

Conclusion

We are sure that with this guide, cookie brand owners will find it a lot helpful in choosing attractive and best packaging box options for their cookie display. Not just the product requirements but you should consider what your customers are looking for. Always remember that happy and satisfied customers will be your regular customers.

Organizations can free up their internal resources by outsourcing HR tasks to consultants to focus on core business activities and strategic initiatives. This can lead to improved business performance and growth.

PayPal quietly reintroduces $2,500 “misinformation” fine

Published

PayPal

Not long after issuing an apology and retracting a $2,500 fine to its users, PayPal has quietly re-introduced the fine into their terms of service and legal agreements.

If enforced, the leading payment processor could fine users the hefty $2,500 sum for spreading “misinformation,” or “hate”, or whatever they deem “unfit for publication.”

While the wording has been changed up, the company has listed several things they would consider fining users over, purely based on speech:

PayPal restricted and prohibited activities

  • The promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory or the financial exploitation of a crime
  • Items that are considered obscene
  • Certain sexually oriented materials or services
  • Act in a manner that is defamatory, trade libelous, threatening or harassing
  • Provide false, inaccurate or misleading information

The original documents, which PayPal said were published in error, had much looser language on what would get users fined $2,500 over – namely the “sending, posting, or publication” of any “messages, content, or materials” that are “harmful, obscene, harassing, or objectionable.”

PayPal has seemingly taken a firm stance against adult / pornographic content in both policies, while the former prohibited things that “depict or appear to depict nudity, sexual or other intimate activities” the new policy vaguely prohibits “certain sexually oriented materials or services.”

Employee Retention Tax Credit 2022

Published

on

The employee retention tax credit 2022 (ERC) is a tax credit available to employers who keep and retain their employees. The credit is available to employers with 100 or fewer full-time employees. It applies to qualifying wages paid to employees during the business’s first quarter.

If your business is a small business, you can use Form 941-X to claim the credit retroactively.

Employers with 100 or fewer full-time employees

Employers with 100 or fewer employees are eligible to claim a refundable payroll tax credit called the Employee Retention Tax Credit.

This credit was created by Congress under the CARES Act to encourage employers to retain employees. It was originally set to expire on January 1, 2022, but Congress has extended the credit twice. This means that eligible employers can still claim the credit for their taxes for 2020 and 2021.

The credit is limited to wages paid between March 12 and Sept. 30, 2021. In addition, wages paid under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) cannot qualify for the credit. The credit amount is limited to $5,000 per full-time employee in 2020. In 2021, it increases to $7,000 per quarter, with a total credit of up to $21,000 per employee.

Paycheck Protection Program loans are not eligible for the employee retention tax credit

The Employee Retention Credit (ERC) is a tax break for businesses that offer a payroll protection program for their employees. Until recently, employers could not qualify for both programs at the same time. But the new legislation has changed this and now businesses can take advantage of both programs.

To receive the credit, employers must file a Form 941-X, or Adjusted Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return, for each quarter that an employee was a PPP borrower.

The credit is based on wages paid between March 13 and Dec. 31, 2020. For the third quarter of each year, the credit is available for up to $10,000 per employee.

Qualified wages are based on the quarter the business began

To qualify as a severely distressed employer, your business must have had a 90% decline in gross receipts in the previous year.

You must have employed at least one person during this time. The CARES Act does not apply to businesses that are still operating, but it does apply to those that have ceased operations and declined in gross receipts.

Form 941-X is used to retroactively file

The IRS has recently released a new form called Form 941-X. The new form is designed to be filed retroactively and corrects any mistakes that you may have made in filing your original Form 941.

The form must be filed no later than two years after you paid the tax. To file this form, you will need to mail it to the IRS. The IRS does not have the capability to accept it online. If you’ve made significant changes to your business, you may be eligible to claim the ERC. The ERC is equal to 6.4% of the wages you paid to employees during the credit generating period. This credit is not available to corporations with more than 500 employees
