2022 Nissan Navara is launched now!

2022 Nissan Navara launched worldwide with a new look! The 2022 Nissan Navara has been unveiled worldwide with a new family design concept, a very cool and aggressive look, and a 2.3L diesel twin-turbo engine with 190Hp and 450Nm of torque! If you have a sufficient budget, then now you can give up the Used Nissan Navara buying plan. What Nissan does have strongly compete with its competitor Honda.

The 2022 Nissan Navara features a design concept similar to the Nissan Titan, with a large water tank shroud, sharp LED headlights, a hardcore bumper and a muscular bonnet. It’s visually striking!

At the rear, you can see the NAVARA logo emblazoned on the rear hood and the three-dimensional LED lights, which are highly recognisable and look great! Nissan has also introduced piano black off-road wheels for the 2022 Navara and Yokohama off-road tyres for a more Off Road feel.

Inside, the 2022 Navara gets only minor upgrades, with Nissan’s latest steering wheel design, multifunctional instruments with a 7-inch colour display and a minimalist centre console. Of course, the 8-inch entertainment console supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making the 2022 Navara an improvement in terms of convenience. Leather power seats, off-road instrumentation, dual-zone climate control and a one-touch drive mode switch are not absent from the 2022 Navara.

Powering the 2022 Navara is a 2.3L diesel twin-turbo engine, optimised to produce 190Hp and 450Nm of torque, which is a good balance between performance and fuel consumption. To enhance its off-road capability, Nissan has also introduced the Pro4X four-wheel drive system to the Navara, which automatically detects road conditions and allocates the right amount of torque to provide a better driving experience!

In terms of safety equipment, the 2022 Navara is almost fully equipped! Nissan’s full range of advanced active safety equipment is certainly present, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, side blind spot detection reverse blind spot detection, lane departure assist, lane departure warning, automatic high and low beam adjustment and automatic cruise control, to name but a few. The Navara is also equipped with Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Assist, six airbags, 360-degree surround camera and basic passive safety systems, making the 2022 Navara one of the most well-equipped pick-ups in the market!

One of the most interesting car news comes from the updated for the South African car market, the Navara gains a two-passenger cabin. The whole car gains a length of 5.24 metres, increasingly in the luxury version, lengthened by ten centimetres thanks to a different study of the bumpers.

The depth of the body is 2.31 metres. The cockpit can accommodate two people. the King Cab has a small rear seat, available as an option. In the Single Cab, however, it is not available.

The Navara Single Cab is powered by a four-cylinder 2.5 litre power unit producing 161 hp. The carmaker also offers 2.5-litre diesel engines for the 163 and 190 ‘horses’. These motors are used in conjunction with four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive.

Some warming tips

Although Nissan has put a lot of effort into engineering the driving handling of the Navara, you’d be hard pressed to see any significant improvement if you weren’t testing it back to back. Driving performance though doesn’t tell the whole story, but given that the Ford Ranger has Sync3, the Holden Colorado has MyLink and the Mitsubishi Triton all have new infotainment systems, the Navara’s value proposition is a little baffling.

Although the Nissan Navara has a good engine and great fuel economy, it’s nowhere near as good as the Ford Ranger or Holden Colorado in terms of driveability and comfort, but it’s too early to tell how it will perform when carrying heavy loads until we next put it to the test with a 650kg load.
