Suzuki Motorcycle GSX-R150 2022 new model?

But recently, a set of computer CG mockups of the GSX-R150 has been circulating on the Internet. Although these are not the official pictures released by Suzuki, and the overall design does not differ much from the current model, there are considerable changes in the details.

First of all, the biggest change is the headlight, which has changed from the current model’s slightly heavy one-piece shape to a hexagonal headlight similar to that of the big brother GSX-R1000, with the positioning lights outlined to the sides, and below the positioning lights are the stamping air inlets that have become quite popular in recent years (according to common sense, the air inlets are only decorative and have no practical effect).

Another highlight is the suspension system, the current GSX-R150 is a little regrettable is equipped with vertical forks, so the computer CG mockup will be replaced with inverted forks, if the new model really adopts inverted fork configuration, it will certainly attract more young riders to join!

Other body changes include a wider rear seat cushion and a lowered rear height to make it more suitable for carrying rear-seat passengers, and a larger fuel tank cover, which has been criticized as small by riders in the current model, allowing riders to use their knees to hold the fuel tank more firmly when driving in sports, further enhancing the sense of integration between human and vehicle.

As for the core engine part, the current GSX-R150 is equipped with a 149cc water-cooled four-stroke DOHC 4-valve single-cylinder engine with a maximum horsepower of 19.2ps, which is the largest in its class, but the engine has not yet passed the EURO 5 standard, so Suzuki will certainly take this opportunity to improve the engine, as for the details of how? Finally, the GSX-R150 is only the work of designer Davidareedea from Indonesia, but if the GSX-R150 is to continue to be sold in the future, it will have to be revised for environmental standards, so unless Suzuki wants to give up the small displacement sports car market, the GSX-R150 will be the inevitable result of the revision.
